Generally aesthetically pleasing , and the nose REALLY sets it apart from other portraits . (Good thing? Bad thing??)

Anyway, I noticed that there's more than the monocle. the hair shadow on your face are... funny... don't know if they are intended, but in case they don't, you should fix them. Well, you should fix them anyway, they look pretty weird with the rest of shadows and the tattoos. Your face also lacks some more lighting... so all in all will say 8/10 because you're always good, but this avatar haves some room for improvement.

9/10; The expression, hair, and the toughness in your eyes all go well together. Also, the bacground and the tattoo match very well

You are missing something to "complete" your avatar.

The lighting compliments the emo character nicely.
Low key creates the shadow necessary for the portrayal of secrecy and hatred sprouting from loneliness nicely .

However , the skin tone is not optimal.
You should have chosen a lighter skin tone to emphasize the contrast between black and white . The hair also blend into the background .... which isn't what a background should be . It should BRING OUT the character unless you are going for the stealth route.

so 8.5/10

Beauty in simplicity, 8/10. Could do some work on the expression but a serene one works too.
